Ayurveda Monsoon Package

As nature recovers with the downpours, it is revival time for people as well. As per Ayurveda, Monsoon is the best season for revival treatments. Amid the Monsoon season, the climate remains without dust and cool, opening the pores of the body to the greatest, making it most responsive to natural oils and treatment.

The Panchakarma Rejuvenation treatment program is a one of a kind chance to wash down and restore both physically and rationally in an unadulterated, otherworldly and yogic condition. One should approach the program with the longing to withdraw from ordinary life and utilize the opportunity to reconnect to body, brain and soul.

Purvakarma: Pre-purification preparation

Before commencing the actual detoxification, the body needs to be prepared to release toxins, as per prescribed methods. Two procedures are used for this: Snehana and Swedana.

Snehana is a full-body massage with medicated herbal oils. Oil massage is done in a particular manner in order to move the toxins towards the gastrointestinal tract. The oil penetrates into the skin, leaving the superficial and deep tissues soft and supple, thus helping to remove stress and nourish the nervous system. Snehana is given for 3 to 7 days as indicated.

Swedana is sudation or sweating. It is given every day immediately following Snehana. A herbal concoction may be added to the steam to further loosen the toxins from the body. Swedana liquifies the toxins and facilitates their movement towards the gastrointestinal tract.

Pradhanakarma – The main Purification process

Vamana- Vomiting Therapy

When there is congestion in the lungs causing repeated bronchitis attacks, colds, cough or asthma, the recommended Ayurvedic treatment is therapeutic vomiting. This eliminates the ‘Kapha’, producing excess mucus.

Virechana – Purgation Therapy

When excess bile (Pitta) is secreted and accumulated in the gallbladder, liver and small intestine, it tends to result in rashes, skin inflammation, acne, chronic fever, vomiting, nausea and jaundice. For this Ayurveda suggests administration of therapeutic purification or a therapeutic laxative.

Nasya – Nasal Administration

The nose is the doorway to the brain and also the entry into one’s inner self. The nasal administration of medicated drops is recommended for excess body humorals accumulated in the sinuses, throat, nose or head areas. They are eliminated through the nearest possible opening – the nose.

The predominant location for Vata is the colon. Basti therapy involves the introduction of herbal decoctions and medicated oil preparations into the rectum. It relieves constipation, digestive problems, chronic fever, colds, sexual disorders, kidney stones, heart pains, backache, sciatica and various joint pains. Many other Vata disorders such as arthritis, rheumatism, gout, muscle spasms and headaches can also be treated with Basti.

The treatment mentioned above plan is the general Panchakarma Detoxification therapy for a healthy person. However, our doctors will check your medical history and diagnose your present health condition before deciding on the right treatment for you.
